How do feminist feel about France new law?

A new law goes into effect today, prohibiting women from wearing face coverings (veils) in public. It is punishable with a fine. A greater fine is awarded to any person(s) who tries to make them. Do you see this as discrimination? Shouldn`t women dress the way they want? Your thoughts?
