Why would anyone obey laws when?

Recently in Texas a law was passed making a law that could make sexing a felony even when children do it. The way it was written was if a 16 year old girl texted a photo of her naked it was a crime punishable up to 10 years and a registered sex offender for life.Recently too many parents complained that this was too harsh scaring a person for life (far worse than the crime) So if such little consideration is given by law makers why should any one especially me obey any laws I disagree with?I
